Shooting at Duncombe Park
Duncombe Park has an internationally renowned reputation for being the epitome of pheasant and partridge shooting in the UK, ranking among the top 50 shoots. This is a seriously good shoot, located on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Helmsley, situated within the grounds of its famous stately home, Duncombe Park. With over 13,500 acres, and in excess of 60 drives, encompassing ravines and wooded valleys, it is of no surprise that the land lends itself perfectly to presenting challenging birds. It is because of this diversity that the shoot will appeal to a wide variety of teams.
Hospitality at Duncombe Park
At Duncombe Park we can cater from experienced to novice guns as the estate lends itself perfectly to a variety of drives. This is mostly double gun days for teams of up to eight guns, apart from the occasional January day where we can accommodate single guns.
All days include full hospitality with the option of breakfast, if required, served in the shoot lodge, elevenses in the field and a three-course dinner afterwards. As on all our shoots, hospitality can be adapted to suit your requirements.
